NEW LEARNING CIRCLE OFFERING!
You Don't Know What You Don't Know
Lamenting, Mending, Risking, and Leaning Into Joy
8-Session Mid-Day Learning Circle
Biweekly Wednesdays · Beginning November 4, 2026 ·
12:00–1:30 PM CT · Virtual - Zoom
Loving this country well means knowing its whole story — not just the parts that are easy to be proud of. Most of us were never taught the full history of race in America, and it's still shaping the world we live in today. This series isn't about tearing anything down. It's about understanding our shared history clearly enough to build something better on top of it — together, without judgment, and without blame.
Eight conversations about the American history most of us were never taught — where the caricatures, the maps, and the laws came from, and what they ask of us now. Each session makes room to learn it, grieve it honestly, and discern what's ours to do about the harm that still reaches into today.
This series leans on a simple trifecta that carries people through the long haul of this work: collisions that disrupt old assumptions, asking why instead of looking away, and grace — for ourselves and each other, as we're formed. Injustice remains, but goodness interrupts.
GROW TOGETHER
A space for honest reflection and growth across difference.
Rooted Mosaic Learning Circles are small groups where people slow down, listen, and learn together. Each circle mixes story, reflection, and dialogue to explore identity, culture, and belonging.
Circles take different forms—discussions, book studies, history series, guided practice—but share one purpose: building self-awareness, intercultural skill, and relational wisdom in community. Participants stay rooted in who they are while engaging others with curiosity and courage.

This space is:
A place to learn the American history many of us were never taught — where the caricatures, maps, and laws came from, and what they still shape today.
A place for honest lament — grief that's real, not rushed past.
Held with grace, for ourselves and each other, as we're formed by collisions and honest questions.
For the curious and the convicted alike — wherever you're starting from is welcome.
A space where injustice is named honestly, and goodness is trusted to interrupt it.
Oriented toward practice — risking, mending, and leaning into joy, not just information.
This space is not:
About blame or guilt. No right answers required — just a willingness to show up as you are.
A place to be shamed for what you didn't know before today.
A one-time event — it's a posture built together, session by session.
Performative or point-scoring. It's honest wrestling, in community.
A debate or a defense of your innocence. It's an invitation, not an accusation.
Therapy or crisis support. It's communal and formational — not a substitute for individual care.

This learning circle asks for presence, humility, and care — for yourself, others, and the work itself. It's built for people willing to stay in the room when things feel slow, uncomfortable, or unresolved. Each session pairs what you learn with something concrete to do with it — so this isn't just knowledge you collect, it's practice you build. What you do with this doesn't end when Session 8 does — it shows up in what you notice, who you talk to, and what you're willing to integrate into your lived reality.
