A learning circle for moving from awareness to grounded, accountable action
Many of us have crossed a line of clarity we can’t step back from.
We’re seeing more clearly how racial and social injustice actually works—not as isolated incidents, but as patterns rooted in history, systems, and power. For some, this clarity has come slowly. For others, it has arrived all at once. Either way, awareness alone no longer feels sufficient.
The question that follows is often quieter—and heavier:
What do I do now? This learning circle exists to hold that question with care.

A debate space
A checklist for “doing the right thing”

Resisting saviorism, urgency, and ego
Staying human in the midst of grief, anger, fear, and resolve
The goal is not mastery, but formation—for the long haul.

SESSION OVERVIEW
-
We begin by talking honestly about what has changed—what we’re noticing now and what we can’t ignore anymore. This session helps us slow down, get our bearings, and begin together without rushing to answers.
-
We explore what shows up after clarity—pressure to act, hesitation, guilt, or overload—and practice slowing down without disengaging.
-
We reflect on our own stories, relationships, and positions to better understand what is—and isn’t—ours to carry.
-
We talk about how to stay involved without making ourselves the focus—learning how to show up with humility, listen well, and remain accountable without trying to fix or lead everything.
-
We focus on translating values into everyday practices that are realistic, relational, and sustainable.
-
We close by reflecting on what it takes to keep showing up over time without burning out or giving up.
